Bertie was rescued by a dedicated and determined animal lover in Stoney Creek when he was about 5 or 6 months old.  Because he had never had any human contact until he was caught in a humane trap, he was very skittish and wary of people.  Since he has been in the care of Animal Welfare, he has learned to trust his caregivers at The Pampered Feline and he gets along well with other cats, but he still remains very nervous around strangers and does not like to be picked up.  He loves to eat and his food should be measured out twice daily so he doesn't over-indulge.  He likes attention on his terms and gets along well with Dino, Sandi and especially McGinty.  It will take a special person with lots of patience and understanding to give this shy young cat the quiet, loving home he deserves.  Could that person be you?
