Gabe and his sister, Em, were rescued as tiny kittens by a kind lady who bottle fed them and raised them to be healthy young cats. She found a home for the two of them together and all seemed to be well. Over the years she kept tabs on them but recently she was horrified to find that their owner had become ill and had abandoned them. Neighbours were going in to feed them and change the litter but she soon realized that the situation could not continue and, as she felt responsible for them, decided to take them back to her home. Since she already had a full household, she asked if we could help find them another home. Gabe is a pretty big fellow and, like all good brothers, looks after his little sister. They are boarding together at The Pampered Feline and we would dearly love to see them find a home where they could stay together after all that they have been through.
