Hanoki was found out in the country, hiding and trying to keep warm in a building where farm tools were stored. He was rescued by a kind person who took the poor terrified fellow inside and called us to ask if we had room for one more stray. When he got to the vet's he was so covered in grease from the farm implements that his back and tail needed to be shaved. But now he is enjoying his temporary home at The Pampered Feline where he likes to sit on laps and be petted. He is a fairly quiet cat and loves to look out the windows at the birds and squirrels. His fur is now soft and shiny and he is quite good with being brushed. He is a nice, friendly cat who would do best in a quiet adult home.
