Jameson and his sister, Jewel, were found in the central part of the city, just below the escarpment. Their part-Siamese mother had brought them to the home of a kind lady who had been feeding her and she must have known that her kittens would be welcome too. When the kittens were about 6 months old the lady knew she had to get help for them before they started having kittens of their own. Their mother was already pregnant again but she could not be caught. With the help of an Animal Welfare volunteer the kittens were lured into a cat carrier and after being spayed, neutered and vaccinated they were placed in a foster home. Jewel was adopted right away, probably because she had the same part-Siamese looks as her mother but Jameson did not have her exotic looks and stayed with us. He is still quite a shy fellow and he will need a quiet home with someone who is prepared to be very patient and understanding with him.
