JORDI
male/neutered
short-hair
pale orange and white
about 5 years old
An animal lover
who
was out at 4 am doing his early morning newspaper deliveries first saw
Jordi on one of his West Mountain routes. He sees many strays but
this one stood out
because he was so friendly. He petted him and then continued with
his deliveries. A few days later he spotted him again, on a
different route quite a distance away and the other side of a busy
road. Thinking he must be lost, he took Jordi home and placed ads
in the Spectator and Petlynx to see if could locate his
owner. After several weeks and no response to his ads, he
contacted AWA and asked us to help find him a new home.
He would have liked to keep Jordi himself because of his great
personality and friendly nature but
he already had a cat who wasn't happy about sharing a home with the
newcomer. So we agreed to take Jordi and arranged
an appointment at the vet's where they discovered that he was already
neutered but didn't have a microchip or tattoo. He
was very frightened at the vet's and reacted quite badly to seeing
other cats so we think he will need to be an 'only' cat. And for
now, after being tested, vaccinated, de-fleaed and de-wormed, he is
enjoying hanging out in his foster home, charming his care-giver.
If you would like a cat with lots of 'purr'sonality, we think that
Jordi definitely fits the bill. To make arrangements to visit
Jordi, please call one of our volunteers.
