PAULETTE
female/spayed
short-hair
grey tabby
about 2.5 years old
Paulette
showed up in an east Mountain neighbourhood last winter looking for a
handout. A concerned family began feeding her and made her a warm
shelter on their porch. She started to get quite friendly and
they felt certain that she must belong to someone and so they put up
posters, checked the Animal Control PetLynx website and placed an ad in
the Spectator. They had several people call and come to see
Paulette but, in all cases, she wasn't the right cat. On a recent
night during a very windy thunderstorm, they felt they had to bring her
inside and then they called us to see if we could help find a home for
her. At the vet's, Paulette was tested and vaccinated and went
into surgery where they discovered that she was already spayed.
So, obviously, she must have had a home at one time and had probably been
abandoned. Now that she has been given a second chance, wouldn't you
like to be the one to offer this quiet, gentle girl a loving
home and prove to her that some humans can be trusted?
