On one of the very last days of July of 2003, we brought Beryl home with us (single mom and 2 kids aged 5 and 3) and she is such a great cat for us!  Beryl is gentle and very good with the kids.  Somehow my boy and I have come up with the nickname "Minnie Kit" for her.  She sleeps on our beds and meows when we come into whatever room she's in.  She likes quite a variety of cat toys.  I've not been the biggest animal lover in the past partly due to some bad luck with them, but Beryl is really changing that.  We are even thinking of getting another cat in the future!
