I just recently saw the news about the awa closing, and felt I should share my story because your organization has so impacted my life. I adopted Wanda, now Ella in 2011. She was originally very shy, but with time she has blossomed into the most wonderful cat I could have ever asked for. She has seen me through difficult breakups, the divorce of my parents, and the stress of a nursing degree. She is always at my side, and insists on sleeping underneath the covers with me every night. I am so thankful for your organization, and wish it could carry on so others could have the same opportunity.
