Luna (Cindi)

Adopted September 2007

Hi there,

My name is Louise Taylor and my husband and I adopted "Cindi" now called Luna in September.  I just wanted to send you a couple of photos and let you know how she is doing.  She fitted in with our family straight away.  We already had 2 dogs and a cat and she wasn't fazed by any one of them.  I think this had a lot to do with Kathleen (her foster mom) who socialised her very well with her 2 dogs and the other cats in the house.

Luna is an absolute joy.  She is affectionate and her antics keep me laughing through the day.  She loves the dogs, and will greet them both with rubs and headbangs when she sees them and will even sleep with them in their beds.  It's not unusual to see her curled up in the HUGE dog bed (belonging to our Rottweiller) while he sleeps on the floor next to her.  I think he is afraid to crush her, so just lets her have the bed. It's amazing that he has never trod on her ONCE.  He jumps all over our other dog, but around her he is so unbelievably gentle. It's incredible to see such a huge dog (110 pounds) melt like butter over a kitten.

I just wanted to say thank you for running such a wonderful organisation where these little ones are given a chance to be loved.  I hope you enjoy the photos.

Yours sincerely,

Louise Taylor
