Just wanted to say that Charmaine (aka Poppy) is SUCH a great cat! She’s so mellow, she has just settled in as though she has always lived here, and claimed the top perch on the scratch post as her own. My other cat, Gordon, seems to think she is ok. He hissed once or twice and is now ignoring her.
